Dakota Shafer, an accomplished professional in the construction and real estate industries, has left an indelible mark on the landscape of Colorado Springs, CO. With an impressive educational background and a career spanning multiple decades, Shafer’s dedication, expertise, and leadership have propelled him to success across various roles and responsibilities.
Upon arriving in Colorado, Dakota ventured into the world of construction management and real estate, carving out a niche for himself that showcased his exceptional skills and leadership capabilities. His role as a Construction Superintendent and Estimator at Pulte Homes in the early 2000’s allowed him to manage the building of an impressive 480 homes, including a remarkable 40 in December 2003 alone. His dedication to mentorship and training was evident as he played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of new Construction Superintendents.
In January 2010, Shafer joined G.J. Gardner Homes in Colorado Springs as an Area Sales Manager and Sales Consultant. His expertise in designing, selling, and closing hundreds of custom homes quickly set him apart. Notably, he achieved the distinction of being the Salesperson of the Year for five consecutive years from 2012 to 2016, a testament to his dedication and excellence in the field. In the fall of 2020, Dakota and Jenny opened Structure Custom Builds and have been building luxury custom homes ever since.
